Frequently Asked Questions

Is eyeliner micropigmentation right for me?

Permanent eyeliner is particularly useful for people with sensitive skin or those who can’t use
standard makeup products for any reason, such as athletes, swimmers, or individuals engaged in
other activities.

What can I expect?

After the treatment, it’s normal for the area to appear reddened, sometimes swollen, and darker
than the final result. Crusting may occur over the next two weeks, which will naturally fall off. This is completely normal as it’s part of the skin healing process. The color will also lighten, appearing softer, muted, sometimes even giving the impression that it has disappeared entirely. The final tone usually appears around 4 weeks later, once the healing process is complete.

How long does the eyeliner micropigmentation process take?

The process takes approximately 75 minutes, including the initial stage where we design with
pencil, which will be approved by the client before proceeding with the treatment.

Does this treatment hurt?

An anesthetic treatment will be applied before and during the procedure. It’s essential to notify us
of any allergies or health issues, as most anesthetics contain lidocaine, which can cause allergic
reactions. Otherwise you shouldn’t feel more than slight discomfort during this treatment, but pain tolerance varies from person to person.

How is permanent eyeliner done?

Depending on personal preferences and each client’s physical characteristics, an appropriate
eyeliner design will be created. Once satisfied with the design, the pigment will be carefully
implanted into your skin. We’ll advise on the eyeliner type that suits each client best, as it
depends on the eye shape. The choice of color or colors to be used is also available. During the
treatment, the eyes remain closed, and the skin is slightly stretched for pigment insertion.

How long does eyeliner micropigmentation last?

Several factors affect the duration of the treatment, such as age, hormonal factors, skin type,
beauty routine, and post-treatment care. Generally, the result lasts about two years, maintaining a beautiful and defined pigmentation. A touch-up at this point is ideal to maintain color intensity.

Can I return to work immediately after micropigmentation?

There’s no issue with returning to work after the treatment, although some redness and swelling in the area may be present.

What is microblading?

In this technique, eyebrows are created hair by hair using a manual tool and pigment, resulting in
an extremely natural and beautiful final look. The procedure generally consists of two parts: the
initial treatment and a touch-up or reinforcement 6-8 weeks later.

What is nano-microblading?

Nano-microblading is a microblading technique performed using a combination of manual tools
and a pigmenting machine. This technique is especially recommended for more challenging skin
types and for correcting poorly designed eyebrows. Nano-microblading demands more from the
artist and requires experience in using the pigmenting machine to achieve a beautiful final result.

What is the microblading process like?

The microblading process involves applying semi-permanent pigmented strokes in the form of
small cuts with a tool designed for this purpose. The first round is usually done without
anesthesia, although numbing cream can be applied before starting for people with high
sensitivity, while subsequent rounds are done after anesthesia application.

How long does microblading last?

The duration varies depending on several factors such as the client’s skin quality, body’s
regeneration capacity, precision, adherence to aftercare, lifestyle, hormones, metabolism,
potential illnesses, medications, among others. The pigment is placed under the skin, but not as
deeply as body tattoos, so the result fades gradually and requires maintenance over the years. It’s
generally recommended to touch up every year and a half to two years to keep it looking beautiful
over time.

How long does lip micropigmentation last?

The duration is estimated at about 2-3 years, influenced by skin type, care, and aesthetic
treatments.

Is lip pigmentation painful?

For the procedure, local anesthetic creams are used before and during the process, so in most
cases, the process is only uncomfortable, although this varies depending on each client’s
tolerance.

For whom is lip pigmentation suitable?

This process is possible for almost all people, only excluding those who have certain conditions
incompatible with the intervention, such as: skin with burns, bleeding wounds, hormonal
imbalances, among others.
